The World

An Iranian student was deported against a federal judge’s orders. Shahab Dehghani was flying back to Boston from Iran this weekend. He’s a student at Northeastern University. When he landed at Logan International Airport, US Customs and Border Protection detained him. The World’s host Marco Werman speaks with Mahsa Khanbabai, chair of New England’s American Immigration Lawyers Association, about Dehghani’s removal and what this means for Iranians in the US overall.
