In August, Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny was poisoned. He was on a flight from the Siberian city of Tomsk to Moscow, when he suddenly lost consciousness. In the months since, Navalny has been on the slow road to recovery from this near-fatal attack. Multiple world-renowned laboratories have concluded that Novichok, a military-grade nerve agent developed in the Soviet Union, was used in the attack.
