Earlier this month the Trump administration announced that international students would be required to transfer or leave the country if their schools held classes entirely online because of the pandemic. After numerous federal lawsuits and an outcry from hundreds of universities, the administration has now rescinded the rule. The announcement brings relief to thousands of foreign students, including Marco Rebeiro, a sophomore from Portugal, studying engineering at Harvard.
