Indians turn to crowdsourcing for needed COVID-19 supplies

India faces a devastating coronavirus surge that’s overwhelming its health care system. In most hospitals and pharmacies in the capital, New Delhi, stocks have run out. So, people have been turning to social media, asking anyone online for ICU beds, medicine and oxygen tanks to keep their loved ones alive. Others, whose relatives didn’t make it, are asking on Twitter how they can get them traditionally cremated. Host Marco Werman speaks with Manish Pandey, a volunteer at the COVID-19 resources collective, in New Delhi.
