In Japan, seniors are concerned as COVID measures are lifted

Japan has the world’s fastest-aging population. And it was hit hard when Japan’s most brutal wave of COVID-19 yet happened over the winter. Now, Japan’s government is “downgrading” COVID-19 and removing many protective measures. As Thisanka Siripala reports from Tokyo, some health professionals fear that this leaves the country’s large elderly population vulnerable.
