In Italy, press freedom under attack?

Last month, Italian police raided the office of the Domani newspaper. Their objective was to seize an article written about a member of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s government and his alleged connections to organized criminal gangs. Meanwhile, the government is suing a well-known anti-mafia journalist, accusing him of defamation. Some worry that the current political atmosphere could be damaging to press freedom in Italy. The World’s Europe correspondent Orla Barry reports.
