In Guam, people fear becoming collateral damage in a US-China conflict

China’s military, for the first time ever, sent an aircraft carrier within hundreds of miles of US soil last month, toward the territory of Guam. Pentagon officials speculate that if China invades Taiwan, the Chinese military will likely strike the heavily militarized island of Guam, simply to prevent the US from intervening. As The World’s Patrick Winn reports, many of Guam’s native peoples say they are being caught up in the middle of this potential US-China standoff.
