Impass over a return to nuclear talks with Iran

Iran rejected an early meeting with the US and other EU signatories to the Iran nuclear deal, in a move intended to set the stage for resuming talks with Tehran. According to Iran, the time isn’t suitable for resuming talks — not until the Biden administration lifts Trump-imposed sanctions that have crippled its economy.
