Fires have been tearing through much of California and the Pacific Northwest since mid-August. Now, a new large fire is burning in northern California, hitting the area’s winemaking region hard. The World’s Monica Campbell has been following how immigrant farmworkers in the US have been hit particularly hard this year – first, by COVID-19 — and now, by the wildfires.
