Immense personal grief as COVID-19 deaths reach a half-million marker 

Activist Kristin Urquiza looks back on the death of her father who died of COVID-19 in June. Mark Urquiza was a Mexican American son of migrant farmworkers, born and raised in Arizona who worked the fields himself. Kristin Urquiza tells The World’s Marco Werman it was important to her to take great care in going through his personal belongings, especially because her father didn’t receive the care that he deserved in his final days.
