Poland and Hungary could lose billions in European Union funding following a ruling by Europe’s top court on Wednesday. The European Court of Justice ruled that billions of euros in aid money could be withheld from the two nations if they are found not to uphold EU values and standards Hungary’s Justice Minister Judit Varga said the judgment represents an abuse of power by Brussels.
