Hundreds sent to hospital following sandstorms in Iraq

A major sandstorm affected northern and western Iraq this week. The sandstorm sent hundreds of people to the hospital with respiratory issues. Flights were also suspended at Baghdad’s international airport briefly. The World’s Carol Hills spoke with Salman Khairullah, an Iraqi environmentalist, about the recent sandstorms and what’s causing them.
