HSBC rescues Silicon Valley Bank’s UK branch to calm contagion fears

HSBC took over Silicon Valley Bank’s subsidiary in the UK after it collapsed during a bank run in the United States. Theoretically, the move should allow the numerous tech firms that deposited millions of dollars with Silicon Valley Bank to access their money. The World’s Marco Werman speaks with Eddie Duszlak, the founder of Virtuent, an investment firm that focuses on banks, about the crisis.
