The Biden administration has announced strict new tailpipe emissions limits for cars and light trucks. By 2032, two-thirds of new vehicles sold in the US would need to be electric in order for auto manufacturers to be in compliance. To find out how this new target compares with what other countries around the globe are doing, The World’s host Marco Werman speaks with Dan Lashof, the director of the World Resources Institute.
