“The Operative,” a spy-thriller directed by Israeli filmmaker Yuval Adler is considered very popular in pirate downloads in Iran, accompanied by subtitles in Farsi. Despite being an Israeli, American, and German co-production, the film has scenes filmed on the streets of Tehran. Host Marco Werman speaks with Adler about how the film was made.
