Toronto says it’s run out of room for refugees fleeing the Trump Administration’s immigration policies in the US. Advocates say city leaders are treating the situation like a crisis because they haven’t developed a long term plan for the migrants; Toronto Mayor John Tory, in turn, says he can only do so much without help from the federal government.
