Hundreds of asylum-seekers and unaccompanied minors separated from their families have been detained at hotels along the southern border, and later, expelled to their home countries, according to a recent exclusive report by the Associated Press (AP). Host Marco Werman speaks with Karla Vargas, a lawyer with the Texas Civil Rights Project. Vargas represented a 13-year-old girl who fled gang violence in El Salvador to the US. She was detained at a hotel and expelled back to Central America.
