In a new study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, researchers have identified the world’s second patient, a 30-year-old Argentinian woman, who appears to have cured herself of HIV with her own immune system. Host Marco Werman speaks to one of the study’s co-authors, Dr. Bruce Walker, Director of the Ragon Institute at MGH, MIT and Harvard, about the findings.
