The worst sort of threats online doesn’t always stay online. The recent deadly attack at a synagogue in Pittsburgh was a reminder of that. On Thursday, the suspect in the shooting pleaded not guilty. Robert Bowers had vented hatred on the internet toward immigrants and Jewish people. The Pittsburgh shooting has a lot of Americans concerned about increasingly bold and violent incidents of hatred and bigotry. WGBH’s Stephanie Leydon has more.
