Haitian immigrants sue US government over abuse allegations at the border

Haitian migrants are suing the US government, arguing that immigration officials at the US-Mexico border physically and verbally abused them as they sought to enter the United States. In September, thousands of Haitian migrants arrived at the Texas border and many were kept in squalid makeshift camps; others were pushed back into Mexico by Border Patrol agents on horseback.
