This year, South Sudan will celebrate its 10th anniversary as the world’s youngest country. In January 2011, millions of southerners voted to break away from Sudan after years of violent civil war. Now, many refugees in the diaspora are putting their memories and knowledge to paper. The World’s Halima Gikandi reports.
