As the US and Kenya negotiate their first-ever bilateral trade deal, an industry group representing global chemical and fossil fuel companies is working behind the scenes to get the US to persuade Kenya to reverse its historic achievements around limiting plastics. Marco Werman speaks with Griffins Ochieng, who heads the Center for  Environment, Justice and Development (CEJAD), a Nairobi-based nongovernmental organization.
