Global oil giants are raking in record profits

Shell and Exxon are reporting their biggest-earnings ever for 2022, with Shell netting $40 billion and Exxon hauling in $56 billion. The World’s Marco Werman speaks with Ramanan Krishnamoorti, the vice-president of energy and innovation at the University of Houston, about what made it such a huge year for the oil business.
