Doctor and public health visionary Paul Farmer died on Monday in Rwanda at the age of 62. Upon hearing of his death, messages of support poured in on Twitter from around the world, from Nepal, South Africa, Mexico, Sierra Leone, Haiti and more — signaling the global reach of his work. Farmer dedicated his life to global health and spent much of his life in places in greatest need of resources and support.
