The COP26 climate summit in Glasgow, Scotland, was supposed to end Friday, but it’s going into overtime as major aspects of the agreement remain unresolved. Key sticking points surround language about phasing out coal and fossil fuel subsidies, financing for losses and damages caused by climate change, rules for carbon markets, and the timeframe for coming back to the table to increase commitments to slash carbon emissions. The World’s environment correspondent Carolyn Beeler in Glasgow updates host Marco Werman as the summit enters its frenetic final phase.
