Germany turns off the switch

On Saturday, Germany shut down its remaining three nuclear power plants. The move was greeted by cheers and jeers. Nuclear power is now being seen as a way to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and cut emissions. But humans have still not figured out a safe way to get rid of the radioactive material.
