German mission in Afghanistan officially over

In April, the Biden administration announced that it plans to withdraw all US troops from Afghanistan by September 11 of this year. European troops are also exiting Afghanistan, with most European troops having already pulled out of the country — months before the US. Yesterday, Germany announced that its mission in Afghanistan is officially over.
