German city turns off the lights at night due to the energy crisis

The German city of Hanover is going dark at night to save energy. That’s not the only energy-saving measure it’s undertaking as the country faces a massive energy crisis heading into this winter. The World’s Carol Hills spoke with Noah J. Gordon, a fellow with the Carnegie Endowment’s Europe program, about these measures and how Germany and Europe can better manage the energy crisis they’re currently facing.
