Two decades after militias slaughtered hundreds of thousands in Darfur, researchers are working to prevent a repeat of the violence. Nathaniel Raymond of Yale’s Humanitarian Research Lab is pairing photographic evidence with on-the-ground intelligence in a new partnership with the US State Department.
