Today is the 39th anniversary of the revolution in Nicaragua that overthrew dictator Anastasio Somoza in 1979. It comes on the heels of three months of political violence, with protesters claiming that President Daniel Ortega, once a hero of that 1979 revolution, has become a dictator himself. On Wednesday, the Organization of American States adopted a resolution condemning human rights abuses by government forces. Hundreds of people have been killed in the violence since April, many reportedly by those forces. But observers say there is no end to the conflict in sight. Host Marco Werman speaks with Delphine Schrank, who has been covering developments in Nicaragua for Reuters.
