One of the most popular members of the French cabinet, the former television presenter Nicolas Hulot, has resigned in frustration at his failure to push through an environmental agenda. He made the announcement on live radio, apologizing to President Macron and the prime minister for not telling them beforehand. France Inter radio columnist Pierre Haski, spoke to Nicolas Hulot before he made his announcement at the radio station where he works.
