Former US envoy in Haiti says its govt is ‘in cahoots with the gangs’

Haiti’s acting President Ariel Henry has an ever weakening grip on power. Meanwhile, the armed gangs that control much of everyday life in Haiti are growing ever more powerful. Ambassador Daniel Foote, the former US envoy to Haiti, says “there are indications” that Henry has conspired with the gangs, but gotten little in return.
