Sara Mardini is a Syrian refugee who was granted asylum in Germany. She was once hailed as a hero for helping save 18 people from drowning during a hazardous boat-crossing from Turkey to Greece. But after returning to Greece to work with a group helping refugees, she was arrested and accused of being a people smuggler. Mardini spoke to the BBC’s Richard Galpin after her release on bail.
