Former Liberian president says Linda Thomas-Greenfield is perfect fit for US ambassador to UN role

The Biden transition team has announced that the next US ambassador to the UN will be Linda Thomas-Greenfield, who has decades of diplomatic experience, including serving as the US ambassador to Liberia from 2008 to 2012.  During those years, she worked closely with Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, who served as Liberia’s president at the time. Host Marco Werman speaks with Johnson Sirleaf about her experience working with Linda Thomas-Greenfield.
