Former Golden Dawn leader arrested in Brussels after being stripped of immunity

A member of the European Parliament and former leader of a Greek neo-Nazi criminal organization has been arrested in Brussels. Ioannis Lagos was convicted and sentenced, along with dozens of Golden Dawn members and leaders, in October. This week, the European Parliament voted to strip him of an extradition immunity he was afforded as an MEP, paving the way for his extradition back to Greece.
