It’s the latest attempt to find a solution to nearly a month of fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh, a breakaway region within Azerbaijan which is controlled by ethnic Armenians. Hundreds have been killed in the clashes, and global powers’ attempts to negotiate an end to the violence have so far failed.
