Kenya’s presidential election is one week away, and polls show that the biggest issue for Kenyans is the high cost of living — especially when it comes to food. The prices of staple foods have risen more than 100% in some cases. Experts say a combination of drought, COVID-19, and the Ukraine conflict are all factors.
