First blind man from Asia summits Mount Everest

Zhang Hong, a blind man from China, heard about a blind American who climbed Mount Everest — and got inspired. When Nepal lifted its ban on people with disabilities from climbing the mountain, he took his chance. Zhang said it was absolutely terrifying. Still, he made the summit.
