Firefighters in Greece are struggling to contain multiple, major wildfires in the region around the capital, Athens. It’s too early to know the exact death toll yet, but today the Greek government said more than 70 people have been killed so far by these fires and nearly 200 have been injured. The region’s governor, Rena Dourou, warned that those numbers are destined to grow.
