Europe’s ‘tree of the year’

The World

Europe’s “Tree of the Year” award is meant to highlight people’s emotional connection to nature. This year’s winner is a pine tree in the Czech Republic known as “the guardian of the flooded village.” Host Marco Werman speaks to Miroslav Kundrata from the Czech Environmental Partnership Foundation.
