EU moves toward Russian oil embargo

The European Union is looking at a proposal to cut itself off of Russian energy. The move is part of a new package of sanctions being discussed by the EU this week. Putting the embargo in place would take some time to implement, and it would require all 27 member states to sign off on it. But as The World’s Carolyn Beeler reports from Berlin, Europe’s biggest economy  — Germany —  is already taking steps to end dependence on Russian oil and gas.
