After five years of negotiation, consternation and debate, the EU and the UK have finally reached a Brexit trade deal. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, announced the deal on Thursday. “At the end of a successful negotiation’s journey I normally feel joy.
