By now, the name Alexander Vindman might sound familiar. Vindman was one of the key witnesses who testified before Congress during the Trump-Ukraine impeachment inquiry in 2019. At the time, Vindman was on the staff of the National Security Council, serving as a key adviser on Russian and Ukraine. The chain of events that led to his testimony started with the now-infamous phone call between President Donald Trump and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. After the call, Vindman reported his concerns about the call, up the chain of command. That decision changed American history. Host Marco Werman speaks with retired Army Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman about his life and his new book is titled: “Here, Right Matters: An American Story.”
