‘Doping Olympics’ gets first athlete

Retired Australian swimmer and Olympic medalist James Magnussen says he will compete in the Enhanced Games, a sporting event where there’s no drug testing and doping is encouraged. Magnussen told a sports podcast he’ll “juice to the gills” to win the $1 million prize on offer. Magnussen is the first athlete in the world to publicly flag interest in competing in the Enhanced Games, the brainchild of an Australian entrepreneur with the backing of Silicon Valley venture capitalists. Hosts Marco Werman and Carolyn Beeler have the details.
