Cuba allows women boxers to compete after decades of restrictions

For the first time since former President Fidel Castro’s revolution, Cuba has authorized women to compete in boxing. Sports officials said they’re choosing athletes for a national women’s boxing team. The World’s Tibisay Zea spoke with Namibia Flores, who, for years, was the only female boxer in Cuba.
