Counting the victims in Tigray 

A team of researchers has established the identities of almost 2,000 of the civilians killed in more than 150 massacres by Eritrean and Ethiopian soldiers in the Tigray region of Ethiopia. Many more deaths remain to be documented. Host Carol Hills speaks with Jan Nyssen, a geography professor at Ghent University who leads the team confirming the identities of the victims and updates the ‘Atlas of the Humanitarian Situation’ in Tigray and Ethiopia.
