Could Gustavo Petro legalize cocaine in Colombia? 

In Colombia, the Legislature could soon resume conversations about a controversial bill that would legalize coca and cocaine. If approved, it would be the very first time that a country legalizes a drug as addictive and harmful. There seems to be momentum behind the idea now that the country is getting a new president, and Colombia’s Truth Commission has recommended to stop prohibiting illicit drugs.
