At the UN climate summit in Egypt this week, developing countries are pushing for a doubling of funding for climate adaptation, debt relief and changes to the global financial system, all with the aim of helping them fund preparations for a warming world. The World’s environment correspondent Carolyn Beeler reports on what developing countries are calling for, and how that adaptation money could be used in the coastal megacity of Karachi, Pakistan.
