Boeing’s 737 Max jet gained worldwide attention starting in 2018 when two planes crashed within months of each other: one in the Java Sea, off Indonesia, and one in Ethiopia, killing nearly 350 people. Tom Jennings is the director of a new documentary called “Boeing’s Fatal Flaw,” which is a production of Frontline – produced at GBH in Boston. The World’s Carol Hills speaks to Jennings about the systemic problems that led to the tragedies.
