Conflict in Ethiopia’s northern Tigray region

It’s hard to know what’s actually happening in the northern Ethiopian region of Tigray — communications have been cut off for weeks. Ethiopia’s government says its military forces can claim victory over the Tigray People’s Liberation Front. But the leader of the TPLF insists that his troops are still fighting.
